January is coming to a close and hopefully those New Year’s resolutions have stuck. Time magazine offered some advice on following through on those personal goals:

1. Be honest with yourself. Set realistic goals you know you can commit to.
 
2. Reward yourself whenever you get one step closer to your goal. Punishing yourself will only make you feel worse.
 
3. Surround yourself with positive role models. It may sounds silly but you need motivation somewhere dont you?!

1. Be honest with yourself: Your closet and personal style aren’t going to change over night so instead focus on one thing per month you’d like to work on: closet organization, adding color, purchasing accessories, etc

2. Reward yourself with that wardrobe staple, you’ve wanted for so long. The right piece can change everything else.

3. Who’s in your fashion orbit? Look around at your friends, and grab the best dressed to accompany you on your next shopping trip.
